Civilization Series Favourite Scifi/Fantasy TC Scenarios & Mods Hunt

Regular visitors to my blog may have seen on my What Is Blake Playing Right NOW? page that I’ve been quite busy with Civilization 2 modding as part of the HUGE new WIP Civilization section and youtube series I’ve been working on for ages. Well part of that process has also been hunting for other peoples awesome mods and scenarios to play and tribute as there’s some truly amazing ones out there. I think I’ve reached the point where I have found all that I can so it’s time to go public and ask for help!

I’m on the Hunt for big Civilization total conversion scenarios with a particular focus on Civ2 & Civ3 (but am now expanding to Civ4, 5, 6 & spinoffs) relating to a whole bunch of my favourite fantasy & scifi movie/TV/gaming franchises (many of which I already cover at Blake’s Sanctum allowing for cool crossover content). Been posting in a few different Civ forums and getting great feedback, plus whenever someone has told me about an awesome scenario that’s disappeared over the years I’ve managed to track it down and bring it back from the dead to CivFanatics/ModDB/ArchiveOrg hosting, so helping me has helped the community. Hell in some rare cases I’ve even filled a gap by making the scenario myself haha!

Wonder Boy in Monster Land Remake/Expansion

Finally!! Someone is remaking and expanding my favourite Childhood game Wonder Boy 2 in Monster Land into a new fan game called Monster Land Meka! Being a fan game it still needs plenty of polish but am utterly blown away with it’s quality so far. I really love the backgrounds where you can see entire valleys of grass, flowers, forests, & rivers surrounded by mountains. Cool foreground decoration too, great effects, amazing music remasters of the original WB2 songs that I’ve hummed in my head for the last 30 years lol! Check out his cool preview videos below, man I hope he releases a demo soon!
